This is a rare one of a kind reproduction of Doctor Kevorkian’s suicide machine used on the Phil Donahue show in his only personal interview in 1990s. Included is an original “First” Magazine interview on 5/18/92 about testimonials with “Kindness” and “Killing” of the doctor. On the Donahue they could NOT use exact machine as each of the 28 prior machines built by the Doctor were placed into Police evidence. However, for this rare interview with Phil, the good Doctor gave design specifications of his machine and it was built with non-lethal workings including bottles, but detailed to the last patient the Dr. helped. He used this machine to discuss its workings on his appearance on the “Phil Donahue Show”. It is a carefully hand detailed machine made by the famous Hollywood “Ellis Prop House Company” who made a wide variety of quality movie props (It came unassembled and we did our best to assemble to reflect photos). This is also known as “The Thanatron” or Death Machine in Greek. The Doctor helped 28+ painfully ill patients find a new direction with his machine. Machine was devised as an IV, with harmless saline solution on one side and the “permanent sleep solution” on the other side. After connecting IV harmless saline to patient, the good doctor would leave. The patient would turn a knob when they desired to end earth inhabitance into a less painful world. Size is 15” x 12” x 8” high. Advertisement is 8” x 10”. It is a beautiful display and one of a loved and hated Doctor Kevorkian’s very controversial Euthanasia machine to end ones life.
