This very rare and seldom found book is titled “How to Build a Working Digital Computer” by Alcosser, Phillips, and Wolk originally published in 1967.  This is the 2nd printing in 1968.  The machine sometimes is called “The MacGyver Computer” as it could be built with common things found in your house like paperclips for switches, tin can for drum memory, knife switches etc.  It shows how to build “The Paperclip Computer” which is considered to be the 7th personal computer offered (Simon was the 1st).  In 1969 a company named COMSPACE created a kit form using these directions and called their computer the “Arkay CT-650” (See bottom photo of Arkay – not included).  This is a paperback book in very good condition size is 9” x 6” with 175 pages of detailed information.  Collectors of rare computer memorabilia will find this the highlight to their collection.
